This site is public-information journalism. It is designed to work without tracking you.

Cookies: we do not set any cookies. Nothing here needs a cookie banner because nothing here uses cookies.

Analytics: we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (Plausible-style). No personal data, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Checklist progress: the "Prepare for it" checklist saves your ticks in your own browser's localStorage. That data never leaves your device.

Email alerts: email alerts are launching soon. In the meantime, you can follow the RSS feed or add milestones to your calendar. When email alerts go live, we will store your email address only to send those alerts, and you can unsubscribe with one click.

Your rights: under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction or deletion of any personal data we hold. If we ever process personal data, we will publish a contact point for those requests.
